even if he’s simple in the looks department he thinks “i’m totally hotstuff” regardless of whether he’s overweight or out of shape
when most women look in the mirror, even if she’s beautiful, she sees everything she needs to improve, her arms are too fat, or her thighs need to be toned even if they are pretty thin, her nose is too small or big or long

I’ve come across guys whose mothers have always told them they’re ‘so fair’ when they just have a normal/average skintone and ‘so handsome’ again when they’re just really average looking whilst their sisters are hardly ever told they’re pretty in case they get a big head

I actually agree with that, many of these desi turds in dire needs of a make over with hanging bellies are almost always living in a lala land thinking they're hot stuff. When they dont get any attention from females, they start calling them arrogant and full of themselves.

Women have disorders because of the Adriana Limas and Gisele Bundchens, not because some fat guy expects them to have an hourglass figure. Women are insecure by nature and have image issues.

I dont look in the mirror often… It’s just terrible becuase I know the damage.
It looks a lot worse now too because the Babies have had thier heads shaved and I just had to put myself through the same ordeal too… oh well at least I am happy with life and damn proud of my battered looks.
I remeber my lovely Wife once told me that the reason she found me so devilishly attractive at the time was becuase I lacked the vanity of other chaps… and also becuase the right side of me face is very much a story in skin. Allah ka shukkar I am gifted with a charming Wife and I am happy with her and she is happy with me… she sometimes used to say that she wished she had lighter skin but I told her that I liked the way she was… I would not want her any different and she I am sure does not mind me either.

There's an expectation for women to look good. So women have higher standards to live up to. A man sees himself as having met the standards cause the standard is so low.
It's like saying, when a woman looks at her bank statement, she thinks I'm pretty well off, but when man looks at it, he thinks I don't make anything. This is of course grossly generalized, but the idea is the same.

i don't think women are born insecure. as a woman goes through life, isn't it b/c some men expect their future wives to be at that level of beauty of supermodels, it's an unrealistic, unhealthy way of looking at a normal woman.

Do you spy on men talking to the mirror? I think you're right to a certain extent as it is a confidence thing to look at yourself and proclaim to be the best.
Or you just love looking at yourself.

when i look myself in the mirror i praise the lord that he made my face normal...two eyes that can see, one nose that can small etc. i never think i am handsome. on the contrary, i tell myself that i not the ugliest person on this planet earth so i thank God for that :D

Besides OP has no idea what she is talking about. How does she know what men think about when they face mirror?
For her education:
Men never care what they look like ENOUGH to worry about. Their main concern is to look presentable and decent. And they know a lot of women will still find them attractive for their personalities and gesture and not how fat or slim they are.
If any man agrees with what OP says, he is a geek.
