First of all, congratulations everyone on a great Pakistan win!!!
Okay, what I was wondering was that why is it so hard for any team to find a good wicket keeper who is also a genuine batsman (with the exception of Australia)? I am talking about someone as good that he could be used as an opener. I know wicket keeping is a specialist’s job in itself, but in my opnion, it requires more skills to be a good all rounder than being a good wicket keeper and a genuine batsman; however, teams seem to find excellent all arounders more easily than finding a good wicket keeper who is also a genuine batsman.
Keeping s hard...your involved with every delivery...you have to constantly be aware...constantly be talking...who told you keeping was easy...
And Sangakkara is definitely the best keeper/batsman in world cricket...but he makes errors too...Akmal has been below par with bat and behind the stumps in this series but dont worry he'll be back...
Totally agree that keeping is not easy, since it requires so much concentration and talking, but why is it so hard to find "all rounder" wicket keepers than finding great all rounders? (and I am not trying to focus on Akmal. I am talking about the case with most teams of the world)

Sangrakara at present is definetely the best keeper/batsman.
There was lot of hype of Akmal - but he has certainly struggles in these conditions and if he doesn't work hard than the opposoition will get better out of him especially on bouncy tracks.
However, he wil have opportunity against the mighty West Indies on the tracks he loves.

MS Dhoni is better than his Aus counterpart and Akmal will get his form, he is not very much used to Englich conditions.
May be Akmal will get his form back and improve on his batting weaknesses as he is not used to English conditions. However, can we really blame the missing stumpings on the English conditions?
