I don’t think Allah is afraid - concerned because He wants His people to go to heaven.
Most of the things you have mentioned - are what the dominant conservative interpreters of Islam have come up with over the centuries.
If you want to read someone more “progressive” who you’ll find more palatable - try:
Organization run by Ghamdi. I think he’s about as moderate as they can get - and still stick to Quran and Sunnah for his arguments rather than the alternative - don’t care attitude towards Islamic law that the alternative has.
