yes minority should have rights prescribed by islamic law...........:D i have a personal question...is your husband sikh? because you always call your mother in law as daughter of pandit...............:D

Now no government in Islamic world is in position to give even basic rights:)

My hubby is from "no one gives a **** about" community called Kashmiri Pandit:), my saas daughter of a pandit, who was renowned spymaster:)

Ok finally the discussion starting from a Pandit reached to another Pandit.

Why Muslims got more titles of Sir from English Government than others? We also see many Muslim League leaders carrying title ‘Sir’, even after Independence. Angrez chale gae Sir chhor gae

Iqbal was great poet, his poem "sach keh doon ae baaman agar tu bura na maney:D" is my favorite for the reasons other than scholarly:D

In all Sirs that muslims had, Sir Syed Ahmed Khan is the most impressing but his AMU was in danger of destruction during partition violence:)

the other titles were, RaiBahadur, KhanBahadur awarded by them other than Raja aur Nawab, Government of India abolished all such titles along with their kingdoms though some of them like Scindias of Gwalior are politically powerful because of their work in the region:)

Maharaja Amrinder Singh of Patiala lost election to a farmer family of Prakash singh Badal:), Mahrani Vasundra Raje is out of power in Rajasthan, Even though Scindias are from Gwalior but the state is with BJP:). they call themselves maharaja, Nawabs etc but general masses don't give a damn when it comes to elections:), A poor Vajpayee or Narshimha Rao becomes PM even:)
