Dear Iron Man,
Hey.. why did you take your post off??? anyway, here are my thoughts on the subject.
It is a sad situation, but it has nothing to do with IMTEHAN-E-ELAHI. Once can only do so much, after that it is all a one big game of chance. The lightening or the Tornadoes do not discriminate between a 5-times a day Nimazee and an atheist. The diseases like Alcoholism require medical and psychological attention, and prayers can only bring spiritual satisfaction and do little (if at all) to treat the illness. About the alcoholic daughter, the father needs to help her. God only knows that she needs her father now more than she has ever needed him.
