Has anyone readd Imran Khan's latest book (Pakistan, A personal history?)
I feel that he is a nice guy, but i also feel that he can do more good if he perhaps doesn't become president. He is the sort of person who can push boundaries more and do more for the country if he is not bogged down by legal problems and ruling the govt. i defo agree that he has been made a figurehead, but i also think that he has the potential to do well, if only because, as you lot has said it, he has a clean slate to start off with

read about turkey and the role of its army in the politics (since ataturk's time),** it has taken erdogan 10 years to rid the army of the affairs of the country..**.its because he has the support of its people, he has virtually turned the economy of the country around and the people have voted him in for the third time!! its not easy for the army to go against a person who has the support of the people. had peoples party and pmln worked hard to turn around pakistan's economy do you really think that the people are mad to support the establishment? the political parties dont do anything but seeing their unpopularity they start laying the blame of all their failures on the establishment...

What IK said about controlling army and ISI made me laugh, why because, army have already got few retd generals and former spy-cheif in PTI and now, they are filling the ranks of PTI with most corrupt by loyal to army lot... and PTI is accepting them by and calling them electables and later if IK comes to power, these Generals will use these people to malign IK and by the time IK will realize what he had done or what how he has been used ( same like 2002) he will have little to resist...

Please get someone to audit those and bring them to public. It is PPP in center and PML(N) in Punjab in government. If they do not disclose his corruption, they are equally complicit.

If you google about the early life of bhutto (links will come up that he was born of out of a wedlock, in urf e amm H@R@@M1 as we know it. His mother was a dancer girl). Should I believe that? No! For a second even if we assume that he was born of a wedlock was it Bhutto's fault? No! ISLAMABAD: Former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Monday announced his resignation from the membership of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the National Assembly, DawnNews reported.
“I am leaving the Zardari league,” Qureshi announced this while addressing a press conference.
He criticized Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and said that the government had failed to revive the economy of the country.
