amana, I'm sure that's not true…I don't think that's what impulse means when she uses the word gora/gori......sometimes we say this word without thinking it's not really our fault .... it comes from our parents generation who use the word (for mistake of finding a more suitable word) to imply non-muslim
All of us here know that you don't have to be paki to be a Muslim there are many millions of very good Muslims out there who are white...we know it...we respect it...so don't think otherwise...it's just a figure of speech!
These types of people, are called PEOPLE! Full stop. Nobody has the right to go around giving out labels to people different from themselves. Why do you need to judge them? Who are they to you? Get on with your life the way you want and leave others be. Believe it or not, they will do just fine without yours or anybody elses judgments.
in this case i can argue what is the meaning of even having words??? should we also not use the word pakistani....cuz its labelling people! duh! live in the real world girl....in order for you to communicate a message you need appropriate words to describe things....otherwise no1 would know what anyone is talking about. If I was talking about you...obviously i would need to know ur name or username....otherwise i can be talking about anyone!!
I think only if we think we are perfect, can we point fingers at others no matter how bad they are, whether morally or otherwise. And since none of us are perfect, so why talk abt other's faults? THe best we can do is get our own act together before start pointing fingers.

i might be too busy enjoying coconut shrimp in mauritius and lying under the sun on the beaches there with him. although impulse might still be here writing in her journal every now and then about her MIL and SIL and financial troubles....these threads will just be memories nothing else.
