because they say, its a magic plastic, and i simply dont beleive that magic is good, so they are actually tricking us… they make mistakes in credit statements.
they raise interest rate even on previous payments, they charge merchants who ultimately charges us. well i simply have this presentation ahead, so your reasons pls?
**i LOVE'em. If you pay in FULL upon receipt of your bill and do not take cash advances, they are a great tool of collecting benefits. i always pay on time and in full and i reap rewards in the form of FREE travel, FREE hotel stays and extended warranties. :) you have to be in control of yourself against compulsive buying and disciplined to pay bills on time and in full.
it has a huge convenience factor, you can't do certain transactions without a credit card and it gives you added benefits. :)

i agree with you, but how many of us maintain it in the same way? every third person ends in disaster... my brother in law did cut his all cards some time earlier..and so many others also... i was wondering if you have got any statement with mistakes from them? do you know what cards companies calls you? Deadbeats(those who pay their balance in full every month)
~Kayz... thats good, any particular reason for not using a CC?

i agree to some extent and that is the problem on the part of the card user and NOT the card provider. **All privileges come with responsibility.****
if you are billed in error, you must call them and i'm sure they'll correct the mistakes or oversights. in general, i would still say cards are good tools to build your credit and reap the rewards and perks. :)**
@kkf.. yeah responsibility is has to be there for sure, but what when they intentionally targets the financially weak and less responsible persons? a ist year student getting offers from card companies? ....
and i guess its human nature we tend to act upon credit as our income....

**true but credit card companies lose billion in bad cardholders defaulting on their credits and as a result they are very careful who they give cards.
at the end of the day, both parties lose because they literally lose money while the cardholder gets bad credit rating that stays on his record for 7 years. that's the price they pay.**
