Re: Why I dislike being Pakistani.
I can understand your frustration. None of it is your fault.
About Punjabis, it is not like ordinary Punjabis benefit from anything. The elite from all communities takes away everything. The elite from other provinces just blames Punjabis so that they can justify their own corruption and tell their people why they are backwards. Not saying that there are ethnic issues but just that ordinary citizens get worse anyways. A village in Punjab is as much troubled as any village elsewhere.
About you getting married, I cannot say much. Seems your family traditions dictate that. Nothing to do with country.
However, there is a good news! When something is broken, there are so many ways people can help mend it. If you move abroad, systems are great, education is nice, very little corruption, etc. You work and you make money and you die.
However, being Pakistani, you can have a fulfilling life. There are so many things to be fixed that you can contribute a little and feel good about yourself. At least you can help improve lives of many people, which you cannot do living in a first world country.
Take a look at this.
So many developed countries have much higher suicide rate than Pakistan. A lot of them do this because they don’t really know what to do with their lives!
Thank you bro, this is the kind of response I needed, one thing I love is football, if Pakistan ever made it to the World Cup, I was hoping when I’m older I may start studies in sports and football and perhaps move to Pakistan looking for talent, a scout if you like.
