why? because area like ours, ppl are afraid if they show the city, 50 to 80 of us will gang up on that person and ask for having a meet

I think its very comfortable to know, where a person belongs to, we are having a conversation with ( not for any discrimination ) but with a fact to be a little more understanding regarding their time zone and an feeling of having a friend in a particular part of the world........................:)
I think hiding the location is just being over protective.......................
