to you his prophet is false. to theorist your god is false. same difference. i think moderators need to pass a tolerance and moderation quiz before they are given forums like religion and politics. pretty sure LKK will flunk even a fking blood test..
exactly......... i never understand what is the criteria for making someone a Mod.......plenty of posts and lock of sucking up may be................... but being unbiased/professional and keeping a cool head are definitely not considered before making anyone a mod..

Ok guys, please dont turn this thread into Ahmedi/Qadiyani thread
I was gonna point out the hypocrisy of muslims in general but you have quoted a specific case that demonstrates it quite well. You know that the word qadiani is used as a derogatory slur by opponents of ahmadis, yet you don't have any problem using it. You can do a simple search of the word ahmadi and go through the threads. You'll see there are plenty of members who insulted our holy personalities over and over in the same thread and their posts are still intact. Back in the day when ahmadi/non-ahmadi views were discussed on a daily basis, these same posters insulted us day after day and it was months before some of them were banned. Now if Theorist here got 10 points for her remark and you only need 50 to get banned, some of the posters should have been banned right away. However, this was not the case as there were many who never got banned. There might have been exceptions but in general muslims are not that sensitive about others' sensitivites and holy personalities.
It is quite acceptable for a large proportion of the muslims to ridicule beliefs that are not supported by the islamic point of view or even their own point of view. Tolerance has not been a shining quality of muslims for some time now so let's acknowledge that a double standard exits rather than high minded rehtoric.
I apologize, I did not know that its used as a slur, however I heard it from the mouth of my friends who follow your faith that they are qaidyanis

Theorist.... you just have to accept that this is a Pak and muslim based forum where folks will be more sensitive about that stuff.

I don't expect atheist friendly behavior but it is BULL when they throw infraction points for stating our opinion. Either ignore it or refute it. There are a million things religious folks say ARE offensive to MANKIND! But it's completely ok because most people believe in God.

it is a possibility that you feel the team’s been too sensitive to your comments… but we would be towards any comment that came to our attention that we felt was violating the rule you were quoted .,..whether that comment is directed at islam, Judaism, christianity, hindusim, budhism, atheism, etc etc etc …
unfortunately many times human beings cannot see eye to eye because we each have different POVs.. so you may still feel that we overreacted but I’m impressed by how you have handled yourself despite the fact that you disagree with the action that was taken
I wanted to pitch in and also say we are definitely not here to target you…we will take the same action against any post ****that came to our attention that we felt was violating one of our rules whether that post is yours or someone elses whether we feel that post is insulting islam/islamic figures or whether we feel that post is insulting any other belief system… yeah sometimes we miss posts…we;re human we dont read them all some of them escape us…thats why the report button is there,…for our members to help us in that regard…Im truly sorry you feel like you were targeted but you weren’t thats a pakka waala promishe

From post#1 till last. All comments of each members are in black font. Some members are trying among them to spread friendly relations, peace and love and some others trying to pour oil in burning. Some trying to state/imply their position being right/wrong and/or accused/appreciated for wrong-doing/right-doing etc etc (all by using same font color).
I wonder if we merge all 90 posts of this thread into one and then select any member who never posted in this thread to separate comments of guppie, guppan, moderator, channel manager, admin, atheist, muslim, non-muslim, hindu, qadiyani, then good, bad, appreciated, accused, blamming, litigation comments etc., I think it will be impossible for the member to separate it because all comments are in one standard 'black' color. Hence, if we merge posts of all members in one post its mean we need one member's post where all 89 post will be merged in his/her post without concidering that member could be anyone among us i.e. a guppie, guppan, moderator, CM, Admin, Atheist, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh, Qadiyani, Ahmedi, good/bad poster or troll etc etc. Isn't it?
What i'm trying to say here 'every member behind his/her black text (comment) could be from any of above category but at **GS that member is considered equal as all others GS team because they all share same standard text (in blank font)' **but if somebody on purpose or inadvertency used other than black color then why to blame our changing of color on them/others?.
Hats-off for GS Administration for playing all above roles. Neverthless its not an easy for any moderator to play always neutral role and keep the atmosphere healthy and friendly. I also congratulate members too, that we are being moderated by those moderators whose level of tolerance are greater then ours that is why they have the rights to 'moderate'.

llxxll- Thank you! I just hope one day people can learn to differentiate between opinions, insults, and judgment. You should be offended if I judge you or insult you. You should not however be offended if I am stating my opinion about a celebrity/politician/famous figure and God. God itself is probably the most famous celebrity of all. Why shouldn't I have an opinion on him like the rest of you. So what if it's a negative one? My opinion shouldn't matter to people especially when it's not directed at them. I ignore people's opinions all the time, ignore mine. Why am I being asked to avoid such threads? My opinion is obviously not welcome... which is exactly why I am even more stubborn now because I can't help but wonder why.
My opinion about God and devil does not stem from hate or jealousy. It's simple logic. I thought hard about the concept and it doesn't seem right that God let his one creation turned against another and now God is warning us about the enemy that he created for us?
