Though it is not a very common trend but I have seen quite a number of girls riding bikes.

Girls who have choice of having other people drive them around probably dont drive because of very bad state of traffic. Higher probability of getting into an accident & usually with so much political & other stress pakistani people's lives are under, the road accident encounters between parties get heated. That is the reason, IMO.

And I have no clue why saudi women dont drive. Law of the land they live on so they have no choice but to follow it (Dont mean that law is good/islamic).

Some of my aunties do drive but it's very rare that you see young women driving on their own. So scratch women driving in Pakistan, but do explain why Saudi women aren't allowed to drive. Also why girls don't ride bicycles?

I think it is because the order is that women cannot go alone on hajj etc without mehram.But whats with in the city.No idea and because of this problem lot of problems occur.

I love bikes....my dad always had a bike...but never got a chance to learn to ride one (bicycles-yes)...one day I will learn!!!

and all the Governments in the Middle East are filled with douchbags..and KSA is the worst!!!!

I never like bikes may be my moti thighs cannot handle the bike because they use to hurt when I was little.:( And once I fell I never stepped on bike :(

I think bikes are awesome…I remember papa use to make me sit on the tank (the front) of the bikes and he would give me the handles - to accelerate to my heart’s content :cb: ofcoz mama use to scream at him for it :cb: :stuck_out_tongue:

I have never seen a woman ride a bike in Pakistan. India and every other country, but not Pakistan. My understanding was that it was too inflaming for the guys to see a woman on a bike. Bicycle seat and all that. Worse than Victorian.
