First thing, get rid of “Q”. Maybe 1% of Pakistanis can say it right. Why even bother with that sound? Just replace it with a K and be done with it.
Then, we can get rid of Say, Zuad, Tuay, Zuay, 3, Bari Yay and Humza. Majority cannot differentiate between the sounds of Zuad and Zal, and Tuay and Tay. Chota Yay and Bari Yay are also the same sounds, just written differently. Humza is just useless, we don’t have sudden stops in our language. 3 is useless in urdu, every word it is used in, it can be replaced with an alif.
I would say even get rid of noon ghunna, we don’t make sounds from our nose.
I am sure the argument against this will be that these sounds come from Arabic, and Pakistanis are supposed to love Arabic.
