Why don't they spend money....

on the promotion of boxing?

I mean our boxers have done well at SAF games and recently in Asian and Common wealth games. Not to forget the bronze boxing brought in Olympics. Yet it has been a neglected sport all along. Why not spend to promote a game that promises so much?

Yeah, with the exception of cricket, no sports in Pakistan is heavily supported financially, even hockey and squash where Pakistan has a much better record than cricket.

coz it is played mostly by the poors. Ghariboon ke bache hi is khail main shamil hain. Though no other game is heavily sopproted by govt. but mostly the parents of the player r supporting them. E.g u can see paki women's swimmng team participating so frequently, ( coz of the supports of the parents ) Aisam ul haq palying tourney after tourney out side paksitan on his own. ANyone who have had that much exposure to int tennis have become No. one in paksitan very easily. I remember a table tennis player who was nothing in paksitan went to a training club in japan , had training of 6 months n then came back to paksitan n u know became the member of paki team. There r also so many examples. I m not against that one shud not support his / her kid . My point of view is that these wealthy ppl ( who become members of the sports governing bodies ) r not truely interested in the development of sports in paksitan rather they r just promoters to there own kids. so they do nothing to promote sports in country.

Spending money....people Pakistan if had money, don't you think they would have spent it....?
