^^^ Well I have heard that from Pakistanis who use to live in the Mid east. The racism thing. But maybe it has to do with the fact that a lot of Pakistanis are laborers in rich Arab countries, so get looked down on. I have even heard it from non gulf Arabs who lived in Arab states.

But growing up in America, I never felt or heard anything like that, I mean most of my best friends who were with me through everything, were Lebanese, or Palestinans etc..who were born or immigrated to the States. In America we get along pretty well.

Also who is talking about only marrying Arab women?? and esp those from the gulf? Eww, the nice ones tend to be from Lebonan, Syria Palestine etc..tend to, just from what I have seen.

You just sound bitter.

The ones who are brought up outsideof the ME tend to be different, just like young Desis who’ve been brought up outside their countries of origin. My best mate is Lebanese (but born and brought up in the UK) and a lot of my closest friends are Arab (‘pure’ and mixed), like Desis they can be quite snooty about skin colour (tho they esp love grey/blue eyes).. Lebanese tend to be the most liberal and Iranians are quite open-minded as well (but then there’s the obvious Shia ‘problem’) whilst the Saudis and Kuwaitis are by far the worst..

If u are planning to move their daughter in with ur parents and brothers or sisters the vast majority of Arabs, no matter which country they’re from, will see u as an absolute joke cos it’s something that is absolutely not done in their societies unless there is a desperate need.. It would be the equivalent of a Pak guy sending a proposal to a Pak girl and telling her family he plans to house her in his car Again seeing as tho u reckon ur married to an Arab really u should know this stuff..

Why would I be bitter? Most Desi guys aren’t exactly considered a ‘catch’ by other races.. I read somewhere that on one of the big dating websites there was a survey that showed that Desi men and Black women were the least in demand or likely to find a match. Sad but true
