I am doctor by profession and can afford to get married twice. So lets say i marry a woman here in North America and want to marry another for sake of helping her financially because she is widow or divorced. Even then women will find their man having two wives big problem. What i am saying is, no matter what you do, the engagement with two wives cannot work nowadays.

Even doctors dont make that much to be able to afford 2 wives. my husband is a doctor and there is no way he can afford to have another wife at all. how is he supposed to pay 2 seperate mortages?? u are not suggesting both wives live in the same house are u? and its not just basic necessities, obivously husbands have to buy jewelery and gifts for their wives aswell. do u know how expensive gold is? if he buys me a gold bracelet, he has to do the same for wife # 2. he wil prolly go broke in a few months if he has to support another wife.
