Why doesn't rambo speak in Urdu?

I think this has been mentioned a few times, but I haven’t been on a rant for a while, so here goes.

When Rameez Raja presents the post match cermony why does he insist on speaking English to Pakistani players who obviously struggle with the language?

  1. He embarasses the players involved and we never get to hear what the players really think about the game. It was really refreshing during the twenty20 tournament to hear MoYo , YK and Afridi displaying their charm and wit on the mic at the end of the game.

  2. He even insists on doing this when matches are played in Pakistan. 99% of people watching the game will understand urdu and if they don’t somebody should just translate afterwards. This happens in every other sport and sphere of life. Premiership football and politics comes to mind.

  3. Indian commentators always speak to Indian and Pakistani players in urdu/hindi.

  4. Rambo’s english isn’t even that good.
