Although I did not support PPP before, I am going to vote for them now since Imran Khan is not contesting the elections. Apart from being a truly national party the thing that impresses me most about PPP is that most of their top people are well-educated - Amin Fahim, Sherry Rehman, Fakhr-e-Imam, Begum Abida Hussain, Aitezaz Ehsan (a Cambridge-educated top lawyer, I think he’s still in PPP). Bilawal will soon be an Oxford-grad. PML (N) apart from NS and Javed Hashmi is full of maulvi-type conservative people and gaamay maajay, dhuggas like Raja Zafar-ul-Haq etc.

Our military is khooni. First they killed the country’s first democratically elected PM Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and I am more than convinced now that PML (Q) in collaboration with the lower ranks in our shady intelligence services killed BB, indirectly implicating Mush as PML (Q) is his party.

btw aitezaz was not going to take part in elections because of philosophical differences with the party leadership (aka BB)
