Re: Why Does...
:P maybe, yesterday when we went out for dinner I couldn't decide whether I wanted sushi or a schwarma from an Arabi restaurant. can you see my dilemma?
Re: Why Does...
I've had Indian food many times, but I never really liked it. Although my grand parents are from India, but the food that we make tastes a lot better to me than the food prepared by the people residing in India.
Re: Why Does…
That should include Indians residing in the US & UK and selling that crap they call food.
Re: Why Does...
I wouldn't call it "crap". I've had Pakistani food at many restaurants, which would fall under the same category.
I've concluded it's best to consume desi food at home, unless it happens to be something like kabab paratha. In fact, we've got a good desi restaurant that sells excellent kabab paratha. That's the only Pakistani food item that I like to eat outside. Everything else (desi) is made best at home.
Re: Why Does…
Your conclusion is incorrect. Unlike you many desis found themselves craving Pakistani food when they are not home. Should they pack bags for a meal at home? We look for that taste elsewhere in restaurents.
Pakistani restaurents I have eaten at served tastier food than Indian counterparts.
Re: Why Does…
I live at home with parents, so I’ve got access to great desi food at home, hence, I don’t feel the need to eat out at desi restaurants.
It’s good to hear that the Pakistani restaurants that you’ve eaten at serve good food! :k:
Re: Why Does…
Anwaar…aap pakistani ho. why u sticking up for Indians? there is no1 better than pakistanis ![]()
Re: Why Does…

Re: Why Does…
You are so right LI There is a lady in Karachi who sells dosas through a thaila
and she is very famous, has been in the news and also makes dosas for small functions like mehndi, birthday parties etc and they taste pretty good :k:
Re: Why Does...
^^
The good dishes made to our kitchens and were IMPROVED and rest are left to the thailay walas of Pakistan. :D
Re: Why Does…
I agree queer…taste is acquired…but i guess people do like variety…for instance Chinese Japanese etc… I guess liking or disliking a variant depends solely on the taste buds of the individual ![]()
Also Queer… in Pakistan too we have different versions of all types of dishes…everyone has their own way of cooking a particular dish ![]()
