They do it perfectly themselves without aid of USA.
One reason i abhorr the way things are done in China is their appalling and unforgiveable treatment of animals. Simply vicious , inhumane and horrific.
second reason; And their appalling treatment of Aids sufferers.
third reason: censorship , censorship and more censorship
Fourth: the appalling treatment of women, women and child trafficking.
The one thing i think is great about China is the one child only policy. Now if only India , Bangladesh and other overcrowding birthrate countries would follow same.

World hates China? yeah I don’t see Chinese products anywhere in the world, world hates China indeed. 
Its propagandists and opportunists taking their positions. Of course every country has something to hide, but to say “world hates China” is just ridiculous.

And chinese manufactures of ill repute have a horrible way of making counterfeit products and movies.
The world loves chinese food, the great wall , and its philosophers like lao tzu, Logician, Zhaozhu a Zen buddist master, and the dear Confucian. There are many more but these are the ones I am familiar with.
But overall human rights like in many countries are practicall non existent. women's right and child rights are sorely in disrepute just like in many south east and other asian countries. Even brazil has an attrocious , corrupt and evil practice in deaing with their street orphans.

The protests, to my understanding, have been very small...just because America hates China, doesn't mean the "world" hates China...

and the world doesnt hate China at all. China isnt topping the global hate surveys and has more people viewing it favourably than unfavorably, infact its pretty close to India and much better than the US.

^ "Emerging" is the key word. Let them be the superpower for a few decades and we'll see how much China is loved. As the poll you quoted indicates, their popularity is falling fast. No one likes a superpower.

Tibet, the muslim provencies in China, the Fulon Gong movement, the pro democracy movements (remember Tainamein square massacares), threatening Taiwan etc.
