Open your eyes to the world around you. There’s the chair, the counter top, the hard floor, the wet grass, the dirty sidewalk. I bet that couch sounds a lot better now. Ungrateful people.

actually the "man on the couch" goes back far beyond gs to western thought on dating and marriage...where men are sent to sleep on the couch by irate wives
