Nice try. The Iranis are Islamist. Pan-Islamism and Shia-Sunni unity was their call back in the day. Perhaps you’re too young to remember.

Not all Iranians. Only the Iranian government can be classified as Islamist. The point of this thread is to observe whether or not Shia-Sunni unity is the best thing for Shias. And I am of the opinion that it is not.

and by far and wide one can very much guage the opression of Shias by how far Islamists (among them many Iranian-backed Shias) are supressed.

Political oppression is one thing. But religious oppression? That’s too much.
