Why does God...

Sometimes when we don’t do nice things or if we felt we should be doing more and get distracted less it is a symptom of feeling guilty … the statement above is not one of a person with low faith … People with low faith don’t wish to have stronger faith … cheer up and May Allah (SWT) give you comfort in your faith … and fulfil your wish … Sometimes taqwa is not there, but as long as you continue to do what is right then perhaps one day the feeling of faith will enter the heart … as well as the faith itself.

In a jum’a recently we were told - conviction of beliefs goes up and down - the fact that it is present in our scriptures should itself be a comforting factor. Christians for example don’t have such a statement in their scriptures that provides them comfort when they feel weaker in faith … guilt is actually the path to seeking sincere forgiveness and then after seeking that we should purge our hearts of guilt and focus on improving our condition both internally and externally …

And if it becomes really challenging then toy with the alternatives … should you believe there is no God? should you believe there are many? Then you will soon come to realise that despite the distraction you are a still a person of faith.
