It’s being realistic not sexist. We are talking about a country where only 28 doctors are available for 10,000 people. This % is far much lower in rural areas. Unfortunately or fortunately most of the pakistani population still lives in villages where living conditions are not that great. How many people will let their daughters, sisters or wives to go live in a place where you have to go to a farm to relieve yourself at night? When you know you won’t be practicing then whey waste a seat? Medicine is not like doing a B.A or M.B.A where unlimited seats are available. It’s a basic ROI concept that we as a country still have limited resources and these resources should be invested properly.
Instead of talking women rights we should try to do what is realistically possible. There is much higher chance of a guy practicing medicine then a girl in country like pakistan.
