Well, my husband is a doctor and I am not. So yeah they don’t ALWAYS want doctors. There is a good number of doctor that do want just doctor spouse because its umm status issue for them. Honestly. But there is also doctors who really don’t want to do anything with medicine when they come home. My husband just doesn’t want to talk about work at all when he is home. He wants to spend time with us without all the worries… away, far away from work and the stress.
And its really umm weird (stupid) to say that you went into medicine because you want to help people and just that.. There is also social workers … volunteers.. You may like/love your profession but you are in it to make money..
all I’m sayin too. agree with you. Helping ppl is overused. Y can’t it be love of science and desire to apply it to ourselves to improve our lives. Etc.
