hmmm you really don’t like me much do you. tisk tisk.
not in illusion, already am working in hospital…and have worked before in a nursing home. Inner city vs suburbs…been there..done that…I know how medicine is practiced & the ****ty insurance laws… and i’m not just planning on staying in the US when i’m done…I got lots of plans for my life.
If you feel medicine is impersonal & stressful, and that we read books to the patients… then clearly you are not in this field. Your ideas on what doctors do or feel is totally flawed and I can tell you are not one. Only those of us who are active in it will understand how much of yourself goes into this profession for the sake of others. So what if we have laws, every profession has laws… what is your point?
I’m not trying to sound like Mother Theresa with the humanitarian issue, the world is a fcked up place and no one can ever change everything… but people can do their part if they want. I always wanted to be a doc since I was little and I’m quite happy that I am achieving my goals. Even if this field is not just gold & silver…this is what I WANT TO DO and I will continue to do it until I am at the retiring age. (If the world should last that long). How dare you accuse me for doing it for the wrong reasons and put a label on those who are studying their butts off so one day we can save people like you when you are, God forbid, are hurt or dying.
Quit with your contempt for girls who are in medicine and stop assuming that ALL of them are in it for the wrong reasons. I didn’t take anybody’s resources except my own so quit getting on my case. Jesssuuus
