tablets taste so disgusting?

Why can’t they taste like Haribo’s or M&M’s?

They can but you will have to do some work to achieve that. cut an M&M in half put your medicine tablet in between these parts as a sandwich . Put that sandwich on your tongue and swallow sip a little beverage of your choice. Chocolate milk works the best.

They dont add all the extra flavourings like they do for sweets.

Perhaps they should.

Some people I've known spend 15 minutes just to down one tablet, wandering about in the process. Bless 'em :D

Bless my mother, she's a diabetic, and she swallows 10 tablets in one go every day. =O

Meds don't taste like sweets because sweets are not therapeutic.

I actually really really like the taste of Amoxicillin capsules.

It takes not even a mili-second to eat a tablet. You pop it in to your mouth and immediately drink water or orange juice or something. I usually throw it in my gullet and do not place it on my tongue.

I don’t mind the tablets, they’re not in your mouth long enough for you to really taste em. Sip of water and whoosh. What I do despise are syrups! :grumpy:

lol thats what we tried to do once with my younger sis who was 5-6 yrs old, she had to eat the pill but wouldnt, so we tried this trick, but she threw it back out cuz she realised what we had done :rotfl:

In our "Matas", that's the same as Boots, you can get halal jelly candy vitamins but it's for the kids though :p
