will u wana work just to gain knowledge and make contacts without money?
Gain knowledge and make contacts WITHOUT money? HUH? KYA?
If you're working........you're making some amount of money (great or small).....even if you're not making any contacts nor learning much. Unless you're an intern (and some of them might get paid).
I work because it gives me a feeling of satisfaction when I buy things from my own money. Just knowing that you earned it gives you a sense of pride. And you feel a sense of security knowing that you have a source of income. Work......I feel......can help keep you sane. It can keep your mind off things....(of course over-doing it will have negative consequences). I teach.......and sometimes my students get on my nerves........but reminding yourself that you have the potential to make a positive difference in someone's life....can be motivating and uplifting.
And when you work.......provided you don't work solo........you WILL make contacts. Whether you like them or not is another issue. But you will interact with coworkers......and clients........and professionals from other companies.
I also think, that in a way, having a job provides you with a learning experience that goes beyond just knowledge about your field. You learn how to interact with people of different personalities. You learn how to manage differences with others. You might learn a degree of control and patience. You learn about human nature. When you're only interacting with family and friends.....people whom you trust........you're in this protective bubble. When you get in the workplace..........you'll find people who are so ambitious that they lack a conscience. So ambitious, that they're willing to screw others over.....trample on people to get to the top. And you see these non-examples of behavior......and you can either choose to follow that.......or go about things with more integrity. There's much that you learn.....much that you're exposed to......and it can make you stronger.
