because a woman would know that eventually she would go from the sweaty outside weather to the AC inside at that point the pretty dress looks a lot better than the comfy clothes

what's wrong with looking our best, how many chances would a woman get to wear all those pretty dresses we buy

I know! A few years ago, sleeveless tops in vogue for fall/winter and these women would come in wearing these tops (without a jacket or sweater) and then complain about how cold they were or end up wearing their winter coats indoors :rolleyes:

Well, sometimes I wear a lightweight trenchcoat in the summer but you have to remember the summer's in the UK are hardly hot.

if there was a desi function/event in the summer, desi clothes would be appropriate and the most popular is salwar kameez and that usually covers a woman from head to toe, would you expect a woman to wear shorts or a tank top just cuz it's 90 degrees outside to a desi function...........? that would look weird
