Why do you do what you do?

I mean career-wise.

Even for those studying, why did choose the particular course of study? Because …

  1. You had/have a natural aptitude for it.
  2. It pays well.
  3. You thought doing it, you could make a difference to others.
  4. You fell into my chance, and now it’s a job/career and pays the bills.

Or let us know what your reason for choosing the job/career you chose.

i just wanted to be in school and then in college, so kept going on.

Came across it by chance and enjoyed it..........did some thinking and felt I could be of some help to certain people............and to top it off it pays well

Majored in English w/a minor in Journalism, but didn't do anything with it....fell into real estate for which I had a natural aptitude...milked that for all it was worth and enjoyed success, but when the market changed, and business dropped, fell into current job which is not what I ever thought I'd be doing but helps fill in the gaps, keep the savings account healthy and doesn't interfere with my #1 job as a mommy.....

I couldn't go to school in my uni days because i have had lots of responsibilities. But i tell yaa..i have done tremendously well all throughout. And right now..i am going to school..it is because i would like to be able to get a degree and parhnay ka pehlay hee sai shoq tha and haii..

I hated my career before, and wanted a change..and found this job while I was having the interview for a different position. The HR manager suggested that I should try my current job, and I enjoy it now.

  1. I changed my major once to something ubber hard for me :( ermm too late to go back and do what I really wanted to do.. so just added a second minor for now.

#1 + #2 + I enjoy it a lot now ! changed my majors which was M.B.,B.S and half way specialization in Anesthesia :bummer: (better to say dropped it for some time)
