its unfair for men to eat first? All the aunties I know clean up the table if theyre given the first chance.

I don't think it's unfair but it would be respectful to offer women and kids food first. Most of the time women get the leftovers of everything and that's not the right way. I have always tried to go with the idea of setting two tables one for women and kids and one for men so no hassle of waiting.

As long as I'm not "expected" to wait on my husband hand and foot and "serve" him, I don't care either way

Well, sometimes men eat too much and they get so messy when they’re pouring their food too! :smack:

Its not unfair for men to eat first, since they're better in all ways then women.
