B/C people are hypocritical and do things out of convenience. Majority of the Muslims I know don’t pray 5 times a day or practice hijab. I know plenty of Muslim who date, go clubbing, and even drink. Yet every single Muslim I know, does NOT eat pork. It’s all about picking and choosing and convenience. And in your example…simple…$$$ makes people greedy.

Exactly. So looking on down on these people who are using Shariah for their convenience would in fact make US hypocritical. Every Muslim picks and chooses to some degree. All of us listen to music, watch movies, skip prayers occasionally, make excuses to get out of work, etc. etc. All this falls under pick and choose too. If these people are using Shariah for greed, they will have to answer to Allah, but right now we shouldn’t be sitting here judging them for it.
