I would tell them that this is Allah Miyan's way of giving us the ability to tell others that we enjoyed their joke.
I dont know, its a tough question ..
like last night my choti was asking me why people die? Then she asked why Dada died, who killed him? Lol, that little one thinks that people only die when/if some kills them.

See, now that sounds like a good answer…i just said…“uhmmm, it’s partially something we learn as we grow and partially something going on in your brain…make sure you ask papa when he comes home and he’ll explain better..”

…about that - when my eldest was young and she first asked about death (she didn’t know that people could naturally die, just like your choti thought) i explained to her that eventually we all return to Allah mian…she started crying saying she doesn’t want mama and papa to ever leave her… i so failed at that conversation … now, for our youngest daughter, if she asks, Mr Maroush can take the lead with that. 
Kids have such fertile minds. 
Why do we hurt? You can feel that prick and sting in your heart/soul…that is not outwardly visible to others. Sure, people can see it in the form of tears…angry words…but the internal feeling can’t be seen. I always thought that was interesting.
I’m not exactly sure why we laugh. I think we laugh because our minds are designed to seek order and to make sense of things…and in our minds, we know what is reasonable, logical, and makes sense.
^And comedy involves stupidity and exaggeration…(the opposite of logic and sense) which may be the reason we laugh.
^I think I’ve read that since we like to seek order and logical patterns…irony can defy a logical pattern and that’s why it seems interesting and even humorous. Which is why sudden, out-of-the blue, unexpected comments can be funny.
^It could be that we connect to things we can relate to. We laugh at a bitter sweet experience that we share with others. Or…sometimes we notice something…but find it funny when it’s brought to attention. We may notice that a person or celebrity has a distinct habit or quality…and when a comedian mimics the person’s habit…we may laugh because we find agreement with the comedian. Similarity in thinking can attract people.
I dunno…just some guesses I’ve ventured.
When we humans feel good…all cells in our bodies are feeling good and consuming Oxygen…access Carbon Dioxide builds up in the lungs and needs to be expelled rapidly…Ha Ha Ha!

Death is a very scary topic to discuss with kids. I think we already have a thread on this in Parenting so I am not going to say much. But I just wish sometimes that my kids do not bring this topic up. I very quickly run out of answers.

laughing iz part of our behaviour that iz controled by our brain( frontal lobe), certain neurotransmitter r relesed that make us to feel gud.. and action of laughing and smiling iz controled by facial nerve which in turn controlled by higher center..

The remarkable things about laughter is that it occurs unconsciously. You don’t decide to do it. While we can consciously inhibit it, we don’t consciously produce laughter. That’s why it’s very hard to laugh on command or to fake laughter.
