Is there any need of a religion???
Human nature always wants to believe in something greater than it.
People channel their feelings to believe in god or anything else which they can look up to.
Some of us believe a certain ‘religion’ - or way of life so we choose to adopt that methodology.
Even people who don’t have a religion. Ask them what it means to -for instance- be lucky.. what is luck? Who invented it? Their religion is not believing in anything that other people believe in, but it is still their religion!
Everyone everywhere believes in something greater than them. To me that is Allah, and his religion for us is what he has given all his messengers.

This is quite a difficult question, if taken from an atheist point of view. And it requires quite a philosophical discussion. It was discussed a few times earlier (within the last month). Maybe you’d want to check some of these and then ask whatever question is still lingering in your mind.
