Why do the football players apply that black polish below their eyes?
![]()
It is applied to cancel the glare caused from stadium lights.
And from the sun during the day.
Some guys over-apply just to look mean. It’s called the game-face.
- War paint.
- Reduce the glare from the bright lights of the stadium.
Who was that guy from the losing team? The one they showed a lot of times at the end? He was so darn cute!
War paint, was what I thought, initially too. It looks kinda like those army commandos, proly.
Whats that glare thingy? The glare goes to their eye. So how does applying black paint on the cheek stops the glare?
I am sure there is an easy and simple answer to this, so just help along. Merci :)
Faisal, it cancels/absorbs (not the correct terminology) out the glare, that is why it is applied right under the eyes.
^ I see.. Interesting. Thanks.
Faisal, I cannot belive you fell for that. You should have known better. Madhanee is famous for his Madhanee chlana and story fabrications. Anyhow, glare thingy is the actual reason.
Well, the story was interesting. Nothing more. Nothing less. He also claims to be 84% Indian, so that, by default, makes his stories interesting. I mean, its probably in the genes. Stories, I mean.
The glare thing is still unclear. But nevermind. Its not that I have to start preparing for my next football game or something. I'll ask someone else.

Faisal yaar, would you like me to explain to you why basketball players wear loose shorts?

Feel free, man. After all thats why Azkar chacha 'invented' Gupshup. So you can explain all these important things.
do black football players also apply it?
to save them from your nazr-e-budd?
Madhanee knows his stuff.
