Its frustrating! 2 examples:

My dads friend got a phone call from Pakistan and was asked to send 500 pounds so that his 10,000 pounds (that he mysteriously won off somewhere) will be released to a western union account, he thought this was genuine!

Another so called friend - (with me being totally against it) is meeting someone he hardly knows, after talking to them for a whole day, for the sake of it from an online medium.

Have you encountered other incidents like this?

Sometimes we the things that seem very obvious to us rnt so simple for others. Its just the way we look at it. For some Physics in common sense for others waste good amount of time just getting Passing grades. Bring this to lower level and you see people doing wiered stuff in general e.g example of your uncle.

My friend moved from Pak to USA, He used other friends cell phone to call Pakistan directly from cell phone. To most of us living in usa its not normal but understanding calling system in Pak i think it wasnt his fault.
