Arabs were one of the people who ruled us in the distant past, so people call themselves Arabs to be part of that ruling class, that once was. Claiming Arab ancestry gives you THE ZAAT. Then there are the Syeds they obviously have some Arab blood in them(1/100th).
I have a few Arab naval officers at my university and they don’t look very special when I compare them to the Pakistani officers studying with me. If anything they look weird, probably because they don’t look anything like a Pakistani. These Arabs, the ones I’ve encountered don’t excel at their studies either, but that is probably because of the language barrier. And they aren’t any taller than their Pakistani counterparts.
Pakistanis who’ve had direct interaction with Arabs, especially in the Arab lands, despise them for their arrogance and racism. I definitely don’t claim to be from a race that looks down on us Pakistanis.

Arabs only ruled parts of Sindh for a short period of time. The Arabs were defeated in Punjab multiples times.
