Nilu.. like i said..outside.. ghar ke baher..main gosht nahi khaati..mujhe bas ajeeb sa lagta hai.. bcoz deep in ma heart i dont trust outside ka gosht.. ghar ke baher main sirf vegetarian hoti hoon..:D lekin agar koi khana ho naa.. kisi aur pakistani ghar pe.. i eat meat.. but juz not when i go out wid familiy..restaurant waghaira..Ghar mein to ofcourse khaati hoon mein..:)

Forget what school of thought you follow. I say if you really do give a crap about your religion then be safe instead of being sorry and stay away from anything non-zabihah.
Heres how it is. As a rule of thumb nobody is allowed to kill any animal unless a human's life depends on it. That is why killing animals for game (shikaar) is also considered bad. So the only way we can kill an animal is if its for consumption and if its done in the name of Allah and the proper way (zabihah) as prescribed by islam. The slaughter of an animal has to be as quick and as painless as possible, i.e. the way proper zabihah is done. Any other way is not allowed and hence makes the meat haram.
Apart from this, processed meat especially from fast food restaurants has tons of wierd chemicals and preservatives added to it. Preservatives reduce bacterial activity so the food stays fresh for longer. Well guess what, those same preservatives affect our bodies and slow down bacterial activities within our bodies hence slowing down our metabolism hence making people FAT!!!
Stick to halal/zabihah, it'll do you good.

sry Attia, but what you said that can be applied to other sins. Although, i am not to Judge - but it is better to eat Halal and not disobey.
