Why not the whole menu? I know they are trying to attract a diverse crowd to get more customers, but I don’t understand having only certain items halal on the menu. I have never heard a gora say “Oh I can’t eat there, the meat is halal”.
Re: Why do some Mid Eastern restaurants in the US only keep certain items halal?
hmmm probably costs more to source halal meat??
i was at a resto recently where i was told that the chicken and goat was halal, the beef wasn't. anyways, i heard that a lot of middle eastern ppl interprete halal as "permissible" and it doesn't necessarily mean it's zabiha...

yeah halal/ zabiha meat whether cooked or raw , cost more ................ just take burger for instance if it's not halal cost $ 2- 4 but if halal than price would be $ >4................................per head cost at halal restaurents , no matter what cuisine they offer is usually more than their non-halal counterpart
