Re: Why do religious people think they must prevent everyone from going to hell?
Are religious people who commit crimes moral? What about atheists who are upstanding citizens?
Many people live without religion and are infinitely more moral than believers. People are actually moral based on their own inclinations and upbringing, the only difference is that one group adheres to belief in a deity and a set of rituals and practices, while the other doesn’t.
And that has nothing to do why religion can still be a positive force and way of life, just that morality obviously does exist outside of it.
