na, it just when people say it really fast, it comes out like that… the meaning is still the same

I hate it when people don't pronounce greeting properly, it's usally the brown sahib people who do this, very annoying.

I just say "Salaam!".

okay, is "Khudafiz" wrong? :-| Everyone i know says "Allahafiz", I've always been brought up to say "khudafiz", even tho my parents say "Allahafiz" now....

There’s nothing wrong with it. People just prefer the word ‘Allah’ over ‘Khuda’ because ‘Allah’ means ‘Allah’, whereas the word ‘Khuda’ has other meanings too.

Why say even ‘Allah Hafidh’ when you can use the best of greetings. ‘Assalamu alaikum’.

Ditto, it’s been like an unintentional transition from Khuda Hafiz to Allah Hafiz, at first saying Allah Hafiz felt weird now Khuda Hafiz feels too much of a mouthful.

I don’t really like either I just say salaam for both hello and goodbye, I’m even if you can’t be bothered to pronounce the ‘3laykum’, you can just say “Salaam”, it’d be better and more universally known across the Ummah.

yeah i think u get onto a habit of saying it.. i usually say Salam as well but its more of a persian thing ..
