I went to school in Saudi, so there were both Karachiites and Lahoris in my class. We made fun of their accent, they made fun of our paindu/punjabi pronunciation of certain urdu words. It was all in good fun though as some of my best friends were from Karachi. Having said that, there are a few traits unique to Karachiites (in my experience) that I'm not too fond of, like talking really fast, an element of boastfulness and know-it-all, calling ghaas ghans etc. I'm sure we have our traits too.

i am a lahorii (and a very PROUD one) but have no problems with karachi, islambadi etc etc people. i get along with all of them. there character/personality matters, not whether they were born in lhr, khi or isb. :)

Islamabad doesn’t have a culture. Isn’t majority of the city empty when there are holidays?
And come on, lahoriis are duggays and we karanchi walas have the beach and the city is not a monolith, though that can be a problem with land and bus mafias etc.

@GDIAA No, I'm not prejudiced just judging from experience. :P And my best friend in my school days was from Karachi. :D

Ive heard many Karachi people say such things about Punjabis (Im sure Punjabis say such things about us too) but I dont hold onto such prejudices. I think there is good and bad everywhere...no matter what ethnicity you belong to.

what does the bold part mean? i don't want to get into the lahore and karachi issue but why bring in india when trying to unite pakistanis?

I think he is referring to 1965 when the indian generals supposedly boasted that they will be drinking tea in lahore gymkhana in the evening after declaring the war.
Notwithstanding the tragic loss of life and property in that war, there sure are some funny stories ranging from inaccurate maps used by SSG to land in indian punjab to indian units actually back treading from the front (i think it was by lahore?) because they thought the pakistani army was planning a surprise attack by letting them come so close inside Pakistan when Pakistan even didn't had fully deployed its army to the front yet. In another harbong, two separate indian units were firing at each other as they erroneously thought that the other side was Pakistan.

They quite easily could have too, since our army was literally caught asleep. I've heard the same funny stories.
