Allrighty mister, you think having a thankless job and a ass for a boss is hard. Try having a child as your boss and as for thankless, I am sure the husband provides that by belittling the wife’s work that she does all day. On top of that, if you were a working person previously, the loss of your social circle and the inability to do your usual intellectual duties and switch to a child rearing mode is also a challenge. I think its a worthy sacrifice but it all adds up. Thankfully most couples I know don’t include guys like this Mr. Bite Me.
I did have a friend recently do a temporary project while her hubby took a month off to stay with the kids, when this started he’d had "enough’ of his job and was really looking forward to some “time off” last I heard he was looking forward to his job as if it was a vacation!
