Circumcision is genital mutilation enacted on a person who cannot consent.
Circumcision greatly reduces nerve endings, and causes scarring of the penis. Every single male who has been circumcised has a penis covered in scar tissue. Boys are born with their foreskin, which does not fully retract until age 5 or even later. It serves its purpose to protect the mucusoid tissue underneath. The tissue on under the foreskin on a penis is exactly the same as the tissue under your eyelid. Compare that to the tissue of a circumcised penis. It's very apparent that the penis has been scarred.
Studies has also shown that comparing circumcised men in the USA with HIV to uncircumcised men in Africa with HIV, there is no case that truly proves that circumcision prevents HIV.
Regarding hygiene, teach your children to clean themselves properly. Hence, no issues.
Now concerning the ethics of this.
1. It's an invasive procedure done on an individual who cannot consent. YOUR rights end where my skin begins.
2. It does not prevent nor cure any disease. It is purely aesthetic and cultural on those grounds.
3. Any doctor who performs this operation is in direct violation of their oath to harm none.
4. Circumcision offers the ultimate betrayal to the bonding process of a child. It interrupts irreversibly the bonding process between child and parent. A parent is supposed to protect their child from harm, yet they offer up the child to even more harm.
5. It's a common misconception that babies feel less pain than adults because their nerve endings aren't fully developed. In fact, babies feel MORE.
6. It gives the child it's first genital experience, which is one of pain, violation, and terror. It offers a terrifying blueprint forever stamped in the mind of the developing child that it's penis first gave it pain.
7. You cannot give a pain killer to a child during such an operation.
8. You take away that child's right to it's bodily integrity. The only reason so many people accept it, it's because it's done so much. If you were told that FGM reduced HIV and STD's, (which it probably does), does that make it acceptable to mutilate a woman as well?
9. It's MUTILATION. Case closed.
10. I have yet to see a reference in the Quran telling us to betray and mutilate our children. Please present it to me.
Circumcision is pointless and harmful. If a man chooses later in life to become circumcised, that's his full, consenting, educated choice. However, it is not anyone's right to do this to anyone else.

It’s not clever to lap up everything anti-circ websites like no-harm etc. say and then copy ‘n’ paste it on GS. 
Some guys are even born without a foreskin (especially a lot of Oriental guys). Circumciion is only removing excess skin.
Use your noggin, those sites you got that info from are full of so much siht it’s unreal, they need to get a grip! Men who were circumcised do not feel angry, depressed or inconfident due to their circumcision like some of those goons claim, infant-carer bond is not disrupted by circumcion, circumcision doesn’t have any negative psychological affects… Circumcised penises don’t have less feeling… It’s all just baseless, unproven hogwash on those sites..
Some circumcised penises do get keratinised but that’s not because of contact with clothing (unless they wear sandpaper underwear), it’s because of dry masturbation with rough hands, that’s only a problem for guys who are tightly circumcised, Muslims normally favour the loose circumcision where it stays nicely tucked behind the head but there is still enough skin for it to be mobile/elastic enough to be pulled back and forth over the head (sorry for being so graphic)…
The scar you talk of can easily be avoided if the right technique/method is used, not all circ’d guys have a scar.
Circumcised penises are so much more practical and cleaner, it’s easy to talk about washing everyday but for most people around the world they don’t even get enough clean drinking water, in developing countries like India circumcision should be routine… Even in the west a lot of people don’t even wash their hands after visiting the toilet, let alone kids, teaching them hygiene wont make a difference, besides like you said kids can’t pull it back for weeing so its unhygienic..
Circ’d penises look healthier anyhow, i remember from showers/locker-room all my uncirc’d white mates had tiny little pinkies whilst we Pakis had big kahoonas, I put it down to circumcision.

Your ad hominem attacks are well documented.
And no, I didn’t have to copy and paste, I do have a brain, as well as a strict moral code.
You’re arguing pure aesthetics, which have no basis in medicine or ethics. It has been proven in two studies in Norway and Denmark that circumcision does not prevent penile cancer as well.
The only argument anyone has for circumcision is to slightly reduce HIV.
My suggestion for that is to teach your kids sexual morality and safe sex practices, and it won’t happen. Whatever happened to personal responsibility?
If it’s not broken, don’t mess with it.
A dentist doesn’t go around pulling teeth because most people get cavitites.
So leave the foreskin alone.

You guys are just rambling, so far you haven’t provided any solid proof that circumcision is harmful, just baseless claims.
Look at the issue objectively instead of just looking for that which reinforces your pre-concieved opinions.
Circ doesn’t only “slightly” reduce the spread of HIV, it reduces the chances of acquiring HIV by more than half, that’s not “slightly”. Even the World Health Organisation recommends circumcision for this reason.

Another disadvantage of a foreskin which comes to mind is uncut guys can’t be very ermm rough during sex or the delicate connective-tissue on parts of the foreskin ruptures easily causing messy blood everywhere. :yukh:

i read that circumcision is a good way of keeping many diseases associated with the genitilia. for example, the risk of penile cancer is greatly reduced by circumcision. it probably has to with the reason that the foreskin could amass a lot of filth and, if not regularly cleaned, it leads to those diseases.

Then why do you guys always say Islam's a rational religion? That everything about it just makes sense. How can you have doubts about the religion and still say "we're forced to believe it because its another one of those unconditional beliefs."
A very weak reason to believe in religion. You should be ashamed of being Muslim if you justify your actions by saying it's an unconditional belief.
There is no such thing as believing in islam as unconditional belief AND there has never been and there is no compulsion in Islam.
