Let’s say if a Sindhi guy likes a Memon can he get married to a Memon? Can anyone tell me what is the logic or history behind this?

Marraige Bhai Sahib is a personal choice, you can fault any one for what reasons they want to get Married or not getting Married!

However it is much easier to pick a person with the same background and culture.

i think its a small group and they are business minded people and want to keep the money in the group and don't like "invaders".

but but but

i must also add that its pathetic to behave like that and not only memons do this
also other ethnics communities in Pakistan act like this for example

Raja's would like to marry a raja
Chaudhry a chaudhry
Kashmiri a Kashmiri
Jatt a Jatt
etc.

i think its its a big problem in Pakistanis society and a big decease and unless this stops Pakistan will not progress.
I am not against memons marrying a memon or other groups marrying in same group but they should think out of the box
and should not see it as part of religion.

I agree this is why I believe this kind of practice should be restrained. I am all for outer racial marriages.
