Read the letter in its entirety, instead of reading and quoting out of context. Gandhi was fighting FOR the rights of the Indians in SA. He was not fighting AGAINST blacks.

Many people form their opinions of this so called ‘mahatma’ based on watching Ben Kingsley’s movie. Statues of him have been erected all over the globe. He is spoken of as the ‘father of world peace’, freed India from the tyranny of the Colonial English Empire and so on.
There are quite a few people who are outraged that this man is regarded in this way.
Hopefully this video will show why.
