i think thread starter had either not read the article completly or trying to bluff everybody.
I do think that government is not doing enough to get the muslims in mainstream but one must understand that there is coniserable inertia in the part of community leaders also. The muslims community is largely backward because they are impervious to modern social values. the muslim women are backward because they have supressed by community men in the name of islam. but at least indian government is trying. there are presence of muslim people in all sphers. from govt to indunstry and defence to civil services. it may be less but yes..they are there and increasing.
reservations for muslims are out of question. they have to live to the standards or else...................get out
