UR COMPLETLY WRONG THERE SPARROW DEAR... When choosing a wife one should look at her-background, her beauty, her wealth and most importantly her seerat (ie islamic conduct). Pre-marital relations, whether they include sex or other intimacy, are strictly haraam....call me backwards if you will...but thats the truth! Nothing to do with insecurities at all, just that I wouldn't want a girl whose been flaunting herself to half of the town. It's quite a simple concept really... I mean nowadays boys/girls do what they want...but in reality it is very much frowned upon. You seem to be thinking like a westernised emancipated woman....think like a muslimah, and hopefully you will understand my view points.....good day to you

i think guys who wouldn’t marry a girl who has dated before are full of insecurities and the real reason they wouldn’t marry her is that they feel they may not be as good as the guy she had before but if she hasn’t dated anyone else before then she won’t know any better! Therefore they say that a girl who has dated is ‘used goods’ to cover up their insecurities. A real man won’t think like this.

there is nothing abt insecurities.Only thing is that if I have kept my self away from such Haram things,I will expect some one who would have also honoured these islamic values.
In simple words if I am not used cup of coffee,then I will not accept used one

Even if a girl has a ‘love marraige’ she will tell people that her parents chose him…and the parents will usually back this up…even though she has dated him before marraige for ages! That’s the way it goes!

That’s fine, and understandable..
But I think there’s a huge problem when guys will date and do all haram things and then expect a shareef virgin wife.
Again, if you stay away from haram, then you have every right to stay away from a girl who does. To paraphrase a familiar verse: good women for good men and bad women for bad men.

i'm not judging anyone!...people can do what they wish, co as the saying goes...."he without sin shall cast the 1st stone"....that stone isnt for me to throw...
I agree circumstances change....and Allah forgives....but shouldnt it be the situation where both BOYS and GIRLS save themselves for marriage, as is recommended in Islam???

it is the trust u have in ur future partner

but what if there is a situation such as
she had met a guy and he had played her.. she was young naive as ia m sure all of us are in the beginning and believed him and dated him for a while

seriously tho...thats too much of a surreal situation for me 2 even imagine! I don't mind her having "dated" and repented for it....but my idea of dating could be different from other peoples....
dating for what i see it is stuff like hanging out, chillining, going cinema etc....
but for others its all the physcial stuff included.....then i dont know what i would do!...
But I think it's imperative to iron out these problems before hand, and thats why it is thoroughly recommended to find out as much as you can about your future partners!
