I dont understand whyyyyy dads do crazy things sometimes.
Once I was sleeping soundly in my bed early in the morning and my dad decided to play a prank on me. He took a GIANT dead cockroach and put it near my pillow. I was too busy sleeping so he knudged me so that I’d wake up, and as soon as I opened my eyes, I saw this huge thing next to my face, screamed so loud, and bolted out the door. Yelling for my mommy! I told my dad that it was a horrible thing to do but he found it terribly amusing, as did the rest of my family. I think even ammi laughed a little. cwy I dont know why dads are such pranksters. Anyway, after I got over the scare, I laughed at what had happened. Dad got away with a little tap on his arm for what he did. sigh Just wanted to share this, and know if anyone else had such experiences with their dads. I’ve had plenty but this is it for now. smile
my dad has this idea that i dont eat fruits. Each time he sees me in kitchen while he is there. he goes "nia yeh khao nia woh kaho- kharaab chezein band karo phaal khao" its kinda annoying but i love it when he does that :~)
My dad is the sweetest…he knows, better than my mom mind you, when I put on even an ounce on my body…he starts telling me to watch what I eat and to excercise. Hehehe…cute na?!
No i never had any such experiences with my dad. We have so many things in common. The other day someone told me that i even use the same vocabulary like my dad in urdu and when i noticed it was correct :)
we have a fish tank rite, so one of our fish died…he give it to me lil sis n u kno me..i have those freaky phobiaz n im weally ishcared of fish..
n i had ma door closed cuz i thought abbu had it…so ma lil sis wuz like baji mujhe tou andar aanay do n i let her in i din’t kno cuz she wuz hidin it…n she brings it close to me n i started screamin cuz it wuz gonna fall on me…n i got off da chair, fell on da floor n ran to da other room n closed ma door..
Not really pranks but my dad has this habit of exchanging meaningful smiles with my mom everytime I utter a word. In the beginning, I didn't notice so much but earlier this year when I visited them, they exchanged smiles at EVERYTHING I said. It was as if they thought I didn't know what I was talking about. ( I think they were either trying to enjoy every moment or they wanted to tease me :p )
The other day I said something funny and nani and dadi exchanged smiles and it hit me so hard --how far away from abbu I am.

My dad is dead serious! He smiles and laughs but would never do anything fun like pranks. I guess being the oldest in his family, he had all the responsibility. I can see my chachas playing pranks on everyone.
ma abbu’s da eldest too…n i think mere chachaz waghera se ziada tou mere abbu bachay bantay hain..he’s alwayz teasin everyone…n alwayz tryna b sweet when others r bein such jerks ..hate them…arghh
