…ruin their perfectly good faces with all that makeup on their wedding day? I just had to ask after seeing all the threads here on wedding makeup. Newsflash: You DON’T look good plastered in makeup.
Re: Why do brides...
ah if only we all had "perfectly good faces", sadly not everyone is blessed with amazing clear skin and most of us need a little bit of help from make-up.
Yes some brides go over the top, whether by choice or by an out of control make-up artist, but I say as long as the bride herself is happy with her look and feels beautiful, who is anyone else to judge!

well said fashionblogger.
Some of us do require a helping hand, make up is there to enhance beauty but yes, some people do take things to the extreme.
Re: Why do brides…
agreed 100%,
i hear that a bride is ‘supposed’ to have a ‘bridal makeup’…which requires at least few pounds of paste stuff plastered on the face…
perfectly fine faces are ruined because of this…i heared its just how things work …if a bride gets a normal makeup…other ladies make comments..
obviously women would answer what goes on behind the scene ![]()
Re: Why do brides...
you'll never be able to please every single person, just do what you want! :)

You're right not everyone has perfect skin, but what is wrong with everyday makeup? Why does there have to be extra on the wedding day which makes you look like a clown at a birthday party?
Re: Why do brides…
^ Some people like showing off the fact they can afford all the expensive makeup… ![]()
Personally I feel sorry for some brides and even more sorry for the poor grooms… imagine the horror afterwards. ![]()
Re: Why do brides...
A lot of girls nowadays don't want the clown look (or the geisha look) but sometimes the parents/elders prefer them to be caked up..
I'd find it awful to look like a completely different person in my wedding album.. skin 4 shades lighter, nose pencil thin, different coloured eyes lol
Re: Why do brides...
Aye tis a lie is it not, indeed it is for, ye are making something which it is not...
Re: Why do brides…
probably takes the bride all night to get it off, how are the husbands supposed to get any action?
Re: Why do brides…
hahah…i remember one event…there was this wedding of my cousine…she got make up done from stupid people…and they forgot the stuff that wipes make up off…after the function was finished..everybody came back home…and then there was a problem that the make up was not coming off…so they sent us to the market to search for that stuff at midnight…and the couple had to wait like 2am before they ‘got together’…![]()
Re: Why do brides…
Trust me some do need that leepa pooti. I have seen many wedding pictures where brides had severe case of acne , nothing was done to hide that. ![]()
